HGA announced today that it has acquired Reliable Power Consultants (RPC), an engineering firm specializing in power distribution design, staking, right-of-way, and inspection services.
Headquartered in Colorado, RPC offers innovative end-to-end solutions that comply with legal mandates, regulatory requirements, and public relations objectives for projects. As a leading provider in power distribution, RPC utilizes cutting-edge tools and technologies to ensure efficient and effective solutions for power distribution challenges.
Trotter Hunt, Principal at HGA, commented, “Acquiring RPC is a significant step in our strategic growth plan. The synergies between our companies are remarkable, and we are excited to welcome RPC into the HGA family. We look forward to growing together in the future.”
Founded two decades ago, RPC has established a strong reputation for excellence, serving major clients such as Poudre Valley Rural Electric Association, LaPlata Electric Association, and Empire Electric Association, among others. With three offices located in Durango, Fort Collins, and Brighton, RPC’s expertise will significantly enhance HGA’s service offerings and geographic presence.
“This acquisition aligns with our vision to lead the charge in electrical infrastructure development, especially as demand rises due to data center expansions and the need for electric vehicle charging infrastructure,” said Sam Constanza, Senior Vice President at HGA. “RPC’s legacy of delivering exceptional services complements HGA’s commitment to innovation and client success.”
This acquisition strengthens HGA’s portfolio and presents significant opportunities, including extending HGA solutions to RPC’s established client base, broadening the combined geographic reach of our offices along the Gulf Coast, and expanding into transmission and substation project services.
Barry West, HGA Operations Manager, stated, “Our partnership with RPC strengthens our ability to offer a broader range of power distribution solutions. Additionally, RPC will enhance our operations in Texas, Louisiana, Kentucky, and Mississippi.”
With a proven track record and specialized expertise, RPC will enable HGA to meet the evolving needs of the power industry while continuing to deliver unmatched quality and innovation to HGA clients. At HGA, we seek to build long-term relationships by listening to our clients, leveraging our experience, and delivering on our commitments, to build the future together with them.
