Gulf Coast Ammonia Benefits from a True Partnership Solution
Texas City, Texas
Project Description
Customer Challenge
As an asset management organization, GCA contracts line management of its operations and maintenance while maintaining responsibility for overall performance. To effectively oversee contractors and safeguard production outcomes, GCA needed to build a small, highly experienced internal team prior to commercial startup.
Previous efforts with two search firms did not yield qualified candidates for these critical leadership and reliability roles. GCA initially engaged HGA through its Owner’s Representative (OWR) group for consulting services; however, as operational readiness timelines accelerated, the need expanded beyond advisory support to include access to seasoned professionals with experience in similar large-scale chemical facilities.
GCA also required flexibility in structuring these roles to align with the phased transition into full commercial operations.
