HGA’s Project Manager serves as the point of contact for the client’s project manager and is fully responsible for the successful execution of the project in terms of meeting all cost, schedule, safety and performance objectives of the project.

Senior Piping Designer – AVEVA E3D Experience Required

Summary: The Senior Piping Designer is a contract-to-direct position working for a specialty chemical client in the Plaquemine, LA area. AVEVA E3D experience is required for this role. The Piping Designer position is responsible for planning and preparing a full range of piping contract documents including problem analysis, piping design layout, equipment layout, isometrics and P&ID’s. This position will also be expected to perform field design in an operating plant.

Project Engineer

Summary: The Project Engineer is an on-site position for a specialty chemical facility in Northern Louisiana. The Project Engineer will be assisting the client with construction projects and overseeing their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner. The Project Engineer will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of the projects: exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.

Mechanical/Piping Designer

Summary: The Mechanical/Piping Designer position is an on-site position working for a refinery client in the Shreveport, LA area. The Mechanical/Piping Designer candidate performs and reviews design activities in completing complex and unique engineering design projects from general drawings and instructions. Position requires extensive knowledge of engineering design principles and practices. Assumes responsibility for technical accuracy and constructability of finished designs. Works with minimal supervision from a Lead Engineer.

E&I Designer

Summary: The E&I Designer position is an on-site position in El Dorado, AR with a specialty chemical manufacturer. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design for heavy industrial facilities, with expertise in creating and modifying P&ID diagrams, loop sheets, and electrical schematics. The position involves collaborating with drafters, specifying electrical equipment, and performing voltage drop and conduit fill calculations. The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD LT or Microstation, and candidates must be willing to commute to the El Dorado facility daily.
