HGA’s goal is to build sustainable infrastructure to benefit communities for generations to come. We have led projects to help preserve coastal communities such as dredging, building levees, creating green space, elevating roads, and improving drainage. Our hospital and community center projects have improved public services, provided new jobs to drive economic growth, and have been nationally recognized.
HGA’s quality services have produced real results for our clients: zero HUD findings and no recaptures of funding. HGA’s state-level infrastructure experience is unmatched. We provided consulting services for the program administration of approximately $1.4 billion in CDBG-DR-funded infrastructure projects in Louisiana following Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. After reviewing the success of our Louisiana infrastructure programs, the State of New York Governor’s Office of Storm Recovery (GOSR) entrusted HGA to deliver their $1.1B CDBG-DR Infrastructure Recovery Program. HGA has also worked with the United States Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico as well as many counties/parishes and cities in the execution of their CDBG-DR funded infrastructure programs. Our HUD-funded infrastructure program services have included action plan development; drafting program policies and procedures; creating program implementation plans; development of web-based document storage, monitoring, and reporting systems; and overall grant management support from application to closeout.
