North Louisiana Economic Partnership (NLEP) has announced its 2019-2020 Board of Directors and Officers at its Annual Meeting in Shreveport. Mike Causey, Vice President of Sales at HGA will serve a first term as NLEP’s 2019 Board Chair.
NLEP’s new board members were elected by more than 200 investors for multi-year terms, and the Board in turn elects four board officers. “NLEP is honored to have this diverse group of talented and influential leaders from across North Louisiana volunteer their time, leadership and resources. Their dedication to helping grow the region’s economy promotes new opportunities for everyone,” said Scott Martinez, CEcD, NLEP President.
“NLEP is a talented group of economic development professionals that is working hard to position North Louisiana to retain existing businesses and to attract new companies,” said Mike Causey. “Economic development is important for all of North Louisiana to grow job opportunities to our resource rich region. I am honored to be chosen as Board Chair. I look forward to working with NLEP’s staff, fellow board members and officers and business leaders throughout the region to promote economic development in North Louisiana.”
