HGA will perform engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services on the Simsboro, Louisiana feed mill complex for Raeford Farms. The HGA scope of work includes the site work, civil, and railroad construction components of the new Raeford Farms poultry feed mill being constructed at their Simsboro, Louisiana complex.
“We worked closely with Raeford Farms in the project’s engineering and design phase to establish a design and execution plan for the project,” said Mike Killgore, vice president of HGA’s construction services. “HGA will now be involved in construction management for the feed mill infrastructure, rail corridor, and site work preparation.”
The contract is valued at roughly $8 million. The engineering work began earlier this summer and the field construction should commence in early October. Work is expected to continue until the plant is fully operational in 2021.
