HGA recently announced numerous changes to its senior leadership team as the company continues to look to the future with a comprehensive business plan and path of succession.
“I believe in the importance of a strong, values-based culture, and the ability to attract and retain the best talent,” said CEO, Hunt, Guillot & Associates, Trott Hunt. “It is a testament to the strength of our organization and our people that we can promote from within. With just one exception, all of the changes we made involved promotions, and that exception involved bringing aboard a senior, experienced individual to expand and strengthen our Owner’s Representative business operations. During our succession planning process, all new senior leaders were provided training programs to position them for future growth. We have tremendous confidence in our new senior leadership’s ability to help HGA achieve even higher levels of success.”
Trotter Hunt has been named Principal, overseeing the organization’s Engineering, Staffing, and Pipeline Services operations. Trotter will continue reporting to Trott Hunt, CEO, Hunt, Guillot & Associates. Trotter has been with HGA since 2008, joining the company as part of the business development team. He has served in various engineering and management positions in his 13 years at the company.
Wynn Rogers, currently Operations Manager, Ruston, has been appointed Vice President, Pipeline Services business unit. In this role, Rogers will report to Trotter Hunt and have responsibility for expanding the footprint of HGA’s Pipeline Services business unit. Rogers joined HGA as a Project Engineer in 2006 and has served in roles of increasing responsibility within the HGA Pipeline Services unit. Rogers replaces Don Plummer, who has served as Executive Vice President of the Pipeline Services business unit since 2010.
Sam Costanza was appointed Vice President of the Engineering business unit reporting to Trotter Hunt. Costanza, who currently serves as Operations Manager Engineering, has taken a central role in the execution of engineering projects. He began his career in 2008 as part of the HGA Disaster Recovery Program Management team.
Frank Gay joins HGA as Vice President, Owner’s Representative business operations, effective February 2021. Gay will report to Jay Guillot, Senior Vice President for our Program Management business unit. “Frank joins the HGA Program Management team bringing a wealth of U.S. and international market expertise, gravitas, and an extensive network that will have an immediate impact and help us grow this business in the U.S. and overseas,” said Jay Guillot.
Meanwhile, former Executive Vice President, Don Plummer is remaining with HGA as a Senior Advisor, to support the Pipeline Services business unit but will also devote time to business development across all our lines of business. “I would like to sincerely thank Don for his many years of excellent service, during which he has been crucial to growing and expanding HGA, first managing our Engineering group and starting up the Pipeline Services group. Don is committed to continuing to be a part of HGA going forward, and our plans are to not let him retire any time soon,” said Trott Hunt.
“These changes will improve HGA’s business, on the Engineering and Pipeline Services side as well as for our Owner’s Representative business,” said Trott Hunt. “Trotter, Wynn, and Sam are experienced HGA employees, and with the addition of Frank, their leadership will enable HGA’s next chapter to be successful.”
HGA also made several changes to its Engineering Business Unit leadership team. Scott Sullivan, Program Manager for our Lanxess project in El Dorado, Arkansas, has been promoted to Engineering Manager, Ruston. In this new role, Sullivan will oversee all engineering activities.
