Ron Rowland
Engineering Manager – Baton Rouge
Ron Rowland is HGA’s Engineering Manager in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He has over 20 years of experience in the pulp and paper, refining, and petrochemical industries and believes in our core value of customer service. He strongly believes in operating as an extension of plant personnel and fostering relationships with long term clients. He prefers to collaborate with clients early on, which helps deliver the most cost-effective solution to meet the clients’ needs.
Ron holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana State University. Joining HGA in 2012 as an Instrument / Process Engineer in our Baton Rouge office, he worked in the petrochemical industry covering a broad range of issues along the process chain. After that, Ron served as the Baton Rouge Process Lead where he managed process study and modeling activities. Ron performed as a project engineer for work with several clients before transitioning to a Senior Project Management role. Before joining HGA, Ron served in roles ranging from control Valve Applications Engineer to Control Systems Specialist.
Ron resides in Baton Rouge with his wife, Heidi, and two young children. He enjoys spending time with his family, motorcycling, and target shooting.
