Jack Hunt
Vice President of Program Management
Jack Hunt, HGA’s Vice President of Program Management, is responsible for overseeing HGA’s support of disaster recovery efforts. Jack is a proven leader with experience leading response and recovery efforts following some of the most costly disasters in United States history—including Hurricanes Katrina, Sandy, Harvey, and Maria and the BP Oil Spill.
A graduate of Louisiana State University, Jack was given the distinct honor to be part of the 2003 LSU Tiger’s national championship football team. After graduation, Jack competed for two-years with the Miami Dolphins before he returned to school and received his MBA from Tulane University. After graduation, Jack started his career with The Shaw Group where he assisted with the BP oil spill and Hurricane Sandy recovery. Jack then joined the HGA Program Management Business Unit as a Project Manager where he brought a wider perspective in developing some of HGA’s strategic opportunities.
Jack has successfully assembled collaborative teams of professionals and organizations with the highest capabilities to design and implement unique solutions for HGA’s clients. Under Jack’s leadership, HGA has quickly become a leader in the disaster recovery and emergency management industry providing both program management and technical assistance. He has established a professional network of organizations with services and skills that complement HGA’s capabilities, allowing HGA to bring governmental clients the full spectrum of program management and implementation capabilities that are needed for our communities to recover. Jack understands the regulations surrounding federal grant programs and other funding sources and has the experience needed to leverage the funding to provide a comprehensive recovery solution for communities.
Additionally, he represents HGA in the community. Jack was previously an Emerging Leaders Council Member on the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI) and is currently serving on the Associate Vestry with his church. His business acumen is founded on the family values carefully and expertly instilled in him by his parents and unconditionally supported by his wife, Amelia, and their 4 daughters.
