Barry is the operations manager at HGA’s office in The Woodlands, Texas. He has over twenty years of experience working across a diverse knowledge base in the wood products, specialty chemical (carbon black), and oil and gas industries, along with managing disaster recovery programs. He is a certified Project Management Professional and has deep experience with operations management, project management, and controls engineering.
In his previous leadership role, Barry was responsible for helping create the HGA presence in Baton Rouge, LA where he assisted with the expansion of the program management business unit. He served as a Project Manager managing federally funded disaster recovery projects and programs, ranging in size from a few thousand dollars to over a billion dollars, for both state agencies and local governments throughout Louisiana.
Since moving to the Houston area in 2012, Barry has been helping HGA establish its presence in the region. His expertise in the management of design engineering within the carbon black and oil and gas industries has been crucial to the success of HGA and our clients in the Houston market.
Barry earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology and his master’s degree in Engineering Management from Louisiana Tech University. He has served his University in many roles including being a member of the University Alumni Board and the Louisiana Tech Industrial Advisory Board for Electrical Engineering.
Barry resides in The Woodlands, TX with his wife Anita and two children, Ella and Carson. Barry enjoys canoeing, fishing, camping, and hiking with his son’s Boy scout troop. Barry and Anita are active members of Faith Bible Church in The Woodlands, TX.
