This position is responsible for assisting the Relationship Manager in soliciting, developing and maintaining profitable account relationships with HGA’s clients.

POSITION KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Support the RM with assigned customers to develop stronger relationships.
• Identify any issues that need addressing with the customer.
• Report any Client issues to RM.
• Attend internal project meetings as required.
• Attend project meetings with Client as much as possible to obtain a better understanding of their satisfaction.
• Assist RM in reviewing weekly Project Management reports to resolve any internal/external issues.
• Present any opportunities to Executive Assistant to include in next Proposal Review Committee meeting.
• Assist RM with proposals.
• Assist RM in reviewing engineering Budgets.
• Assist RM in reviewing PCN’s.
• Assist RM in reviewing Work Orders.
• Participate in social interaction with Clients.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Engineering B.S. degree from an accredited college preferred but not required.
• Five years of full-time professional engineering experience preferred but not required.
• Professional engineering registration by examination a plus but not required.

Document Manager

The role of a Document Manager is to maintain company documents according to company standards and contract compliance, making sure the documents are issued, filed and stored correctly. The Document Manager is a vital player on the project team.

POSITION KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Assists Project Managers and Engineering in all documentation issuances which record the daily activity of Hunt, Guillot & Associates.
• Ensures project documents convey the correct information in the correct format.
• Utilizes templates and writing standards created by Hunt, Guillot & Associates to ensure clear, correct and concise communications between business partners, customers, vendors and within departments.
• The Document Manager will create documents that produce the desired result within the parameters of Hunt, Guillot & Associates’ business rules and obligations.
• Reviews and edits all work of other managers and project managers ensuring that the same standards are met.
• Support engineering to accomplish issuances on schedule.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of transmitted documents.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties may include, but are not restricted to the following:
• Preparing, writing, typing, formatting, proofreading, finalizing or entering information into computer to prepare correspondence
• Preparing and sending out letters, meeting minutes, trip reports, telecons, studies and reports, cost estimates, scopes of work, design, equipment and construction specifications, engineering schedules and lists, inquiry requests, requisitions, weekly needs list, drawing log, sketch log, and progress reports
• Conducting limited research
• Operating office machines; i.e. computer, fax, scanner, postage, telephone
• Conveying messages and running errands
• Following vendor data procedures that includes the stamping or numbering forms by hand
• Photocopying documents
• Proofreads records or forms
• Sorts and files records
• Prepare and transmit document packages – prepare transmittal, check each drawing number, revision number, revision description and issue stamp against IFR form
• Move drawings being transmitted from Temp folder to Issued Drawings folder for every issuance
• Receive/Distribute/Maintain Vendor Information and Vendor Log
• Prepare and maintain Document Distribution Matrix
• Manage/Police all Project Folders on the Network and hard copy filing
• Setup Projects on the Network

REQUIREMENTS:
• BA/BS degree is preferred; but will consider an AA/AS degree plus 3-6 years of background experience in the field of law or engineering.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent problem resolution abilities.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Knowledge of Access a plus.
• Knowledge of general engineering terminology a plus.
• Good grammar, spelling and proofreading skills.
• Ability to work with others in a fast-paced work environment.

This position is responsible for scheduling, assigning, and directing projects within the Civil/Structural/Architectural Department, determining scope of work, job objectives, and manhour budgets on projects assigned to the group in concurrence with the Department Manager. Function as a senior civil engineer of the group. Job requires extensive professional engineering experience and CDBG experience.

POSITION KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Assist in the management, supervision or performance of planning, designing, constructing and/or maintaining structures and facilities that provide shelter, support transportation systems and control natural resources; investigating, measuring, surveying and mapping the earth’s physical features and phenomena; and/or research and development activities pertaining to the above.
• Evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, to assigned aspects of storm drain, sanitary sewer, water system construction and alteration plans.
• Assist in the planning, designing, monitoring and/or managing of projects and programs for substantial new construction, renovation and improvement projects for real property facilities.
• Assist in serving as a technical consultant concerning facilities planning, design, construction and/or maintenance for different categories of facilities, and utilize program planning and budgeting cycles, financial control and budget systems, and other management tools to accomplish programming, determine resources and perform long-range planning.
• Be alert to safety hazards in the field. Review consultant-prepared design drawings, indicate basic design corrections, prepare technical specifications, review engineering plans for compliance with numerous regulatory acts. Assist in the evaluation of contract bids, make recommendations regarding feasibility studies and assist in the management of construction projects. Use construction inspection report data to prepare payment estimates as a recommendation for payment of contractors.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or closely related engineering degree from an accredited college.
• Minimum of ten years of full-time professional engineering experience.
• Professional registration by examination required.
• Knowledgeable in the development for commercial and/or industrial projects, storm water systems, grading and drainage, pavement design, retention and detention ponds, various structures in commercial and industrial facilities.
• Experience with subdivisions desired.
• CDBG (Community Development Block Grant) experience required.
• Good leadership skills - Experience in leading projects
• Performs engineering in industry, commercial, municipal markets
• Master’s degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited college, university or technical school may be substituted for one year of the experience requirement above.

This position oversees and is responsible for the overall technical aspects of projects in the Civil/Structural/Architectural Department. Directs other Engineers, Designers, and Drafters for the generation of construction drawings. Develops and maintains manpower projection documentation. Helps ensure that all team members assigned to this position are following department procedures across the board with no exceptions.

POSITION KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Oversees and is responsible for the overall technical aspects of the project.
• Assume leadership of a project team as a lead engineer and coordinate the design aspects of the projects. This includes the generation of calculations and design drawings as well as field work.
• Assess the requirements of a project, break a project into tasks, and work with other engineers to help with the determining of scope of work, budget and staffing.
• Prepare engineering studies and schematic design for new systems and analyze operation of existing systems.
• Checks all technical calculations and drawings for accuracy.
• Write scope of work for design based on preliminary review and meetings with the client.
• May serve as a field engineer during construction.
• Prepare or review construction budgets based on experience and scope of project.
• Maintains communications between other engineers and other disciplines to assure schedule and budget accuracy.
• Responsible for man hour budget and schedule.
• Generates all appropriate discipline communication records for proper dissemination of project information.
• Mentor and help grow the department in experience and resources.
• May be involved in the interviewing and hiring process of potential candidates based on resource needs.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Knowledge of engineering design principles and practices as spelled out in the codes and standards
