Hunt, Guillot & Associates, LLC to Open Office in Shreveport, LA

Hunt, Guillot & Associates, LLC (HGA), a design engineering, project management and program management firm headquartered in Ruston, LA, announces the opening of a new office to be located in the Chase Tower in downtown Shreveport, LA. The Shreveport location will support the company’s steady growth and better serve the company’s existing and expanding industrial, commercial and public client base in Northwest Louisiana, East Texas and Southwest Arkansas.

In Ruston, HGA has a complete multi-disciplined staff of over 120 project managers, engineers, designers, technicians and support personnel. Major disciplines include chemical process, mechanical and piping, electrical and instrumentation, civil and structural engineering. HGA’s industrial client base includes natural gas, petroleum refining and related industries, specialty chemicals, engineered wood products and pulp & paper. HGA also has a significant established client base in commercial and public works. HGA’s projects have included work in over 25 states, Canada, Mexico and the Middle East. The regional industrial, commercial and public sectors will be a key focus for the Shreveport location.

Initial plans for the new office include a multi-disciplined staff of approximately fifteen to be in place during the first quarter of 2009. Much of the staff is expected to be hired locally. Mike Causey, PE will serve as Operations Manager. Mr. Causey is a registered professional engineer in civil engineering and has served HGA in various capacities including Business Development and Relationship Manager.
